Here is the message: Congratulations - what a great site. Loved all the old photos, you have done a fantastic job. I am currently researching my family history and have found that many of my relatives came from Keighley, my grandfather was born there. So looking at some of the photos, especially the school photos, gave me a little in sight into what it would have been like in my grandfathers early years.
Again - great job.

There were quite a few Farrars around Keighley and Cross Roads in the 50s. Best known was probably Fred Farrar who was a trainer at Lawkeholme Lane-Keighley Rugby League Club. There was also a younger Fred Farrar at Keighley Boys Grammar School with me. I might have a school photo with him on. Cheers.

The best known Farrar in Keighley at the moment is Colin Farrar who has been involved in running Keighley Rugby League Club. But in this weeks 'KN' there's something about him and another Director being forced to withdraw from management of the club. I wont go into details - read the article. !
