Please help.....

I know this is a history forum, and i suppose you could be helping to create history here.....so please sponsor me !

At the end of July I am doing a sponsored run in aid of Silsden AFC. The run is a mere 280 miles up and down the hills along the Pennine Way. Basically I'll be doing 10 marathons in 10 days !

The club need 40K in order to carry out the necessary work to get their Keighley Road ground in the village up to league standards (North West COunties league to be precise)

They currently rent Cougar Park for home games - but there is no way they can afford the rent there and are desperate to return to their roots.

History could be made - as there has NEVER before been a football ground in town good enough to host FA Cup ties or semi-profssional football. Silsden FC are of course the only team in history from this region to have competed in the FA Cup and semi-pro standard (at Cougar Park obviously)

I promise not to write another boring book if I get plenty of sponsors.

Love you to bits.....BUT have you ever seen me in a track suit - not a pretty sight.... ...to save you having to look at me for 10 miles with my wobbly bits.......I will happily sponsor you for £10............
