Can anyone tell me if firstly there are any gravestones at the Parish Church (sorry I'm not a local) and secondly has anyone recorded them. I am wondering if there are any Fearnside headstones. (I know there are a couple at Utley)
Thanks
Sue

Hi Sue,
There are quite a lot of gravestones (a lot are the flat 'table' type) at the parish church and they will certainly have been recorded. Malcolm will probably have them on CD and they would most likely be available at Keighley library too. A lot of top stones have been used to create the paths around the church too. I've had a look at quite a few of them but cannot remember if the name of FEARNSIDE is represented there.

The only Fearnside I found in the churchyard was that of Abraham Fearnside, his wife and son, if I remember correctly Sue, but as far as I'm aware they are not connected to our side of the family, there is a Fearnside in Ingrow, James and his 2 wives, Sarah Ellen Hartley and Martha Nunweek, I'll get the dates for you.
