Christmas Eve and it is right to wish all participants and members on this board best wishes for a happy Christmas and a healthy New Year. For a nostalgic expat this board is a good link with home and it is thanks to the good work put in by the committee and regulars. Cheers folks-it was good to say hello in October and attend a meeting. I hope that Father Christmas can find his way up north after he visits us in New Zealand in a few hours!

Indeed, I've just built a humongous snowman (he's just over 7 feet tall ) in our front garden and everyone who passes gives a huge smile when they see it. My children are delighted with it! I'd like to wish a very merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year to all who visit this forum. I feel it's been a great year for local history and next year can only get better if we can build on the success of the last week concerning the pillboxes.

Love the picture you had in the Keighley News this morning... What a puzzle that comment was! I had to search for that one in the newspaper. It's not me though, just another Andrew Wade. ;D
