I have just been browsing via the history site to Amazon books to see what they have on offer. To my surprise, even amazement, I find that there are the same books for sale in UK at 30 pounds +shipping, used ,very good, and the same book, from USA, used, acceptable, is 81.07 +shipping. That one is "More old Keighley in Photographs' Another book, A History of Keighley" is 60 pounds 40 from UK and from the States 168 pounds 26. I paid 12 pounds 99 from Reids(?) in Keighley for this book. There are a few more, most of which I have bought on various visits home, at normal retail price. I'm sitting on a treasure trove eh? (I'd better tell my wife in case she is ever tempted to throw them out!!!!) Why the huge difference I wonder? Cheers. ps sorry, no pound signs on our computer.
