Can anyone tell me if there was a bus crash in 1978 which involved Keighley people please. I am led to understand that someone in my family died on a No 4 bus in 1978 but I don't know if that was the same bus crash that occurred in Bradford, perhaps going to Keighley?

think that in 1978 the no4 bus went from kly to Thwaites brow, cant remember any crashes though

Jules, it might be possible to get the information you want by e-mailing Graham Mitchell, he is one of the Keighley town councillors but also he is involved with the bus museum in keighley and I am sure he would be able to help you. his e-mail is cllr.mitchell@keighley.gov.uk
