I noticed this awhile back on a building, apparently a rough translation means "Hard work Conquers all"
One I noticed this afternoon was on the rear wall of Temple St Church on Chapel Lane, high up "Eden Chapel 1810" and above it "rebuilt 1905" Surprising what what you see when you're being nosy, there was a long ladder leant up against the wall, and i had a butchers to see what was happening. (I thought it might have been Andy!)
