Utley In this place there is a neat and convenient building belonging to the Independents, serving the purposes of a Chapel and Sunday and Day School; and near to the lower part of the village may be seen the remains of an old bridge over the river Aire, called the ' Jowhole,' which, besides bringing Utley and Holden Park into close contiguity, appears to have connected by means of a very narrow road Keighley with Silsden and Bolton Abbey.
