I'll be there too as a representative of Oakworth Village Society and we'll have a stall too.
Starts 10.00 am until 4.00 pm finish.
I'll be setting up the stall at 9.30 am - I think.

Oh this is too early - but I shall be there with my database and CD's of records for sale.
Ask me where any of your ancestors are (in Keighley Area) - you may be surprised what I can find.

Had a great time yesterday, put a few faces to names on here (great to meet you all, notably forum members Derek, Malcolm, pjd and Mike Tebb) and I also collected a few snippets of information that will be very useful.
And my wallet is a fair bit lighter for a few purchases too... ;D

Andy has said it all..............was wonderful to meet Derek & PJD from our Forum................lots of other faces there as well...........Lots of queries which I will add over the next few days........................ Malcolm and I did not get chance to talk - we were both rushed off our feet...................... Managed a few little chats with Andy before being dragged back.......... Lovely to chat to Derek & Jill who were so supportive of our Forum.................. BUT "Gemma" where were you ? Andy and I kept waiting for you to introduce yourself............... :'(perhaps next time............. We have two more shows in Keighley - Keighley Show & The Bingley and Keighley Joint History Days.................will give you more information later. Thanks everyone for making it a day to remember...............I never sat down, not sure Andy did........Malcolm sat down ALL DAY.......because he cannot do what he does standing up..............Whoops..............that was badly worded but you know what I mean....computer + chair + screen........... Its great when people get something out of these things, I did not even attend and I got a teddy out of it. What a strange thing to get from a history fair! I didn't see anyone selling lingerie, must have missed that stall... |

Andy you are so naughty.........................we had a Tombola and her cousin won a Teddy Bear.................no comments about the bear bit either, I spelt it correctly.... (I think)
