Hello Everyone, My name is Andy Wade and I'm a member of Oakworth Village Society and I write their website: www.oakworthvillage.comI'm currently trying to locate burial records or memorial inscription records of Dockroyd graveyard, which belonged to the Methodist church in Oakworth. There were copies of both of these items located in Keighley library but I'm informed that they are now in storage and unavailable. The Methodist church tell me that their own burial records were placed in Carnegie Library at Keighley. Dockroyd graveyard sustained considerable damage by tree felling contractors working for the new owner last October. They just felled trees straight on to the headstones breaking about a dozen in the process. There is a whole page of pictures of this damage on our website. Without wishing to get onto the subject of what I feel should happen to these horrible people I need to find records so that I can contact relatives and see if they wish to take action against the owner. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can tell me where I might be able to find the information I require. Many thanks, Andy Wade.

Hi Andy,
Trawling through back forum items looking for something else - I spotted this item placed by you.
Tae records are in Keighley Libary on Microfiche, and Keighley & Dist Family History Society did the monumental inscriptions prior to the cemetery being disposed of.
I have both if you want to contact me.
Malcolm
