Am i right in thinking my ancestor was the mayor in 1919 aprox he also had a keightly fire engine named after him , he was james berry ithink he was also a jp many thanks

Just googled James berry mayor of keighley 1919 second result on page from Bradford .gov gives a list of all Keighley mayors.
1918-1919 Arthur Bairstow
1919-1920 Robert L Foster
1920-1921 walter riley.
No mention of a James Berry.
