Hi Andy
You cannot & must not assume that our members would every do anything like this...............
As you know Lewis and I chat via the internet and e-mail and try and share our finds........
Have you any names or e-mail addresses then I can have a look and see what I can do.
I do not think anyone who I know would do anything like this at all.
Happy Christmas Andy to you and Lewis

Hi Everyone....have been in touch with Andy, and he is convinced that the e-mails received originated from forum members.................................he does not however, wish to divulge the e-mail addresses, so there is nothing I can do, to try and solve the problem.
I feel so sad, that something like this should have happened. Perhaps an apology on behalf of us all is in order.
Sorry Lewis & Andy

Guilt by unsuspecting association is hard to bear. It makes you ashamed to put your hand up and say "I belong". I am too recent a "joiner" to presume to offer an opinion as to what should be done but it will make me think twice about how any of my future postings may be "censured", hence my undisclosed e-mail address.

Regarding the emails mentioned I'm very disturbed to hear about them. We don't have any specific rules to govern behaviour on this site but it goes without saying that anyone overstepping the bounds of decent behaviour on this forum risks their account being closed down. However, without further information the administrators of this site are powerless to help. I would suggest that no-one makes any further comment on this particular thread unless it is one of support for Lewis.

I agree with Lewis's old man...would the idiots who sent him malicious emails prefer him to be out on the streets causing trouble ?
Hats off to Lewis, I really hope he decides to continue to develop his site. I've never met him but have a lot of respect for the lad. I started writing / researching at a young age and like to think that through the books I eventually had published I made a mark in the field of local sports history - hopefully Lewis will go on to make a similar mark in his field in the future.

I have been thinking about this posting since I saw it yesterday, and on re reading it I am not clear if the malicous emails were to the K.News in response to the article or emails directly to Lewis's email address. I just can't imagine the contributors on here being so small minded as to criticise Lewis for doing something as admirable as he is. Well done Lewis, and hang in there. You are doing something that these critics are probably not capable of doing themselves. I didn't notice the article in the online version of the K. News. If someone could provide a link I can have a look. Thanks in anticipation.Cheers.

What a sad story for this site. But if Andy does not wish to disclose the Adresses there is not a lot to be done.Unfortunately same in all the modern day society.
