Hi - how everone is eagerly waiting for the 1911 Census to become available on Jan 1st 2012 - government requirements.
However limited information is likely to become available starting in 2009.
In Keighley though, we have the ability and records to find that elusive burial that is so frustrating.
MI's are all very well, if the person has had their name put on the monument, but where do you look if they are one of the many thousands that have no memorial?
Even worse is the ancestor who moved away & was returned to be buried in the Keighley Area.
How about John Frankland, from Manchester. You know he died & have the date of death, but where is he? How about Lydia Frankland, also from Manchester.
Where would you start looking?
Both John & Lydia are in Haworth West Lane Wesleyan Churchyard, but there is no monument.
So - ask and someone will help - before 2012.
Merry Xmas and a prosperous new year, especially with finding the elusive one.

Amongst my records, I have the following, which I hope will answer your querie. Yes, they were both indeed buried at Haworth West Lane Methodiist Church.
John Frankland, address given simply as 'Manchester', aged 24, date given as 22Mar1884, but I do not know if this is date of death or burial.
Similarly, Lydia, also of 'Manchester' aged 47, date given as 26Jul1883.
Good hunting.

The 1911 Census is finally online (well parts of it at least and I've had a look at it and the West Riding of sunny Yorkshire is on!) www.1911census.co.uk/ ;D Caution: costs a bit more than other census records to view!
