Saturday dinner time mid 1960s all the shoppings done and I've behaved myself so its off to Mosley's. Steak and kidney pudding chips and peas and if I ate it all a Kunzel cake. I remember going up wooden stairs and the 3 tier cake stand at the top. Never saw these cakes anywhere else and not seen them since, but I got one every Saturday for a good few years. However I don't remember where Mosley's was. Anyone know please Klygirl

I think it may have been in Scott Street (parallel to North Street) somewhere behind Regent Cinema. If not it was the one near the top of Lawkholme Lane though that may have been Brooks

Hi Barcrofter. I just found this. Do you remember Malcolm, the son of Mosley's? That photo is so familiar, having worked just along College Street from there. Thanks P. Cheers.
A friend in Australia has just been in touch to correct me about Malcolm being the correct name of the owners son. I had him as Michael!. Sorry folks and thanks Shirley!. Correction made 16/08/15. Cheers.

If you went into Mosley's as a student from the Tech, you always seemed to get a good portion.
When Mr and Mrs Mosley retired they lived in that street just before the entrance to cliff castle, on Skipton Road. We used to visit and Mr Mosley had a complaint that eventually saw him at Sue Rider in Oxenhope, though he did go back home for a time. Happy memories of a nice couple.
