Hi i am trying to trace my father James ( Jim) Fenlon. He lived in Keighley From about 1959 i heard

Hi , i am trying to trace my father James Fenlon who lived in Keighley for most of his life. He was born around 1923 but i don't no where, possibly Ireland and served in the Green Howards in the second word war. I remember he had a sister called Bridie and an uncle called John Fenlon. I have searched in vain to find a death certificate so it is possible that he is still alive. If anyone remembers him please post on this site many thanks Bernard Fenlon.

From Ancestry.com James Fenlon born Q4 1923 in Pontefract. Will dig a bit more.
Later , found a James Fenlon marrying an Anne Smith is Haslingden in 1941. Looking for others..
Another James J Fenlon married an Eileen Gleeson in Coventry 1952
Two more James Fenlons married in 1956, and another in 1963.
Unfortunately the one I found b 1923, died Barnsley in Q4 2003
I have access to electoral rolls for Keighley, will check.

Further to above, found Fenlens (with an 'e') in Keighley in 1938-1940, but he was John (wife Mary) cant find any Fenlons in Keighley .

Sorry cannot find any Fenlons resident in the Keighley electoral rolls.

The last time i saw my father was 1967 and he was definitely living in Keighley then.

The electoral registers on Ancestry.com only go up to 1962
