My great-grandfather, Michael Sunderland and his sons Joe and Luther were stone masons/contractors in the Keithley area during the late 1800's. My wife and I are from Canada and will be visiting the Keithley area in September of this year and would be interested in locating any projects/buildings etc. that my great-grandfather might have build or been part of. Can anyone advise? Thanks.........Brian Smith.

Hi Brian
Just for interest I have a long family tree of my Sunderland family and that might be of interest to you when you are over.
The Keighley library and the shops in Cavendish street were built at a time when an ancestor of mine was involved and this could be at a time you are looking at but I have no details of workers. As an aside my great grandfather was also a stone mason but from the Pickles side of the family.
