Hello all - I am in possession of a sampler created by a 12 year old Sarah Sharp of Ingrow. The sampler is dated 1818 and was "wrought at the school in Duncan Street Keighley under the direction of Miriam Haggas". My questions are these : does anyone know the name of the school? Does Duncan Street still exist? Are there any photos or prints of the school? And most importantly, is there anyone out there who is working on a family history which might include Sarah Sharp - I am trying to connect her to a William Bailey who was a railway clerk living in Keighley about 1905. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. K

Thank you, Keighleyboy, for the census and marriage lookup - I've added that to my family data. But do you know the name of the school in Duncan street and do you know of any history, photos, drawings, etc that might still exist - just trying to "flesh out" Sarah's history a bit. Many thanks, though - K
