Does anyone know if there is any online way of looking at the burial records for St Michael and All Angels Church, Haworth. I moved away from the area and rarely visit. But, as i've managed to get my family tree back to the early 1700's it turns out from early the early 1900's to the 1700's near enough my most of my family were burried at this church. Although I have been in the graveyard years ago, I never paid any attention and would like to see just how many of the people in my family tree I can match up to the graveyard. Thank Corrina

Hi Corrin, If you subscribe to ancestry.co.uk click on 'Search' at the top of the screen, then on the 'England' bit of the map at the bottom. Then go to 'Narrow by Search' at the right of the screen, and select 'Yorkshire'. On the main body of the screen, you'll find 'Deaths and Burials 1813=1985. Click on that and fill in your details. Good Hunting.

I know that there is a designated person who will access the records at Haworth, you could contact the rectory and ask who it is currently.
A map of the grave yard was given to me some years ago when I was trying to find my great grandparents; if I can find it I will see if Nicholson comes up.

That'd be great if you did, thank you Sean!

Does a map of the graveyard exist? If it did could you possibly share? I am also researching my ancestry and believe that some of my ancestors are buried here. When I visited the graveyard over 12 months ago I noticed a large part of it seemed to be restricted with no access. Plus many of the headstones were very weathered and unreadable.

Yes. I was given a two part map a few years ago when I needed to find my gt grandparents grave. I am away for a few days but will have a look for it and post later.
