Can any one remember the names of any societies or clubs which no longer exist.I remember The Keighley and District Cage Bird Society and Keighley Wine Circle also The Keighley Metal Detector Club can an y one remember any more. Angler

i remember the " Home rule club " up west lane on the left, behind the brown cow an Jim ( ol pal ) walls was the steward, ya went op two lots o steps wi a landin in the middle an when ya banged on the door a little hatch slid open to see if they,d let ya in. There was a small bar and an ol billiard table wi a tape recorder in the middle plugged in to the light bulb socket above, happy days .
