The old KBGS part is brilliant with a fantastic staircase, cellar workshops and nice stained glass windows to compliment etc. However access is the difficulty, if a wheelchair user of a person with any other need wanted to enter the building they would have to use the lift in the newer bit off Lord Street in fact. The Disability Discrimination Act would unfortunately take a gatling gun to it!
What a shame we lost the old frontage in the early sixties……
