Another year coming to an end and once again my thoughts turn to my young days in my home town. The winter nights meeting my friends at 'the triangle' at the top of Parkwood and running through the wood wearing my snow boots and carrying my high heels in a paper bag - no snow was going to keep us away from the Mechanics - no thoughts of having to walk all the way back to the Brow after the dance was over. Happy Days.....Happy Memories.................... A very happy Christmas to everyone, and a hopeful New Year...........................

Thank you again for your kind thoughts Gladys and your happy memories. I can't help but reflect sometimes how different my Christmases are downunder, even though I have lived here for most of my life. I well remember digging our doorway free of drifting snow in Alpha Street when I was a 10 year old. As I write this note at 10.00 am Sunday morning a week before Christmas and I am in shorts and barefeet! Best wishes Gladys, I do enjoy your posts. Cheers. Bill
