Just to advise those who are waiting for the 1921 Census, these records will contain whether a couple were divorced and their place of work and industry.
This will be last Census to be made available before 2051.
Why?
The 1931 Census information was destroyed by fire (England and Wales) (Northern Ireland No census taken)
There was no Census taken in 1941 due to World War 2
However in 1939 the National Registration Act took place - Whether these records will be made available is anyone's guess at the moment.
How frustrating is that going to be?
This will depend on how many other records will be made available through Ancestry and Findmypast over the next 20 years
