Does anyone have contact details for Jim Farrar, who provided the photo of Keighley Town (1947). I'm republishing my Keighley soccer history (hopefully next year) into one big volume and as he played for Keighley Town it would be nice to be able to contact him.
Any old soccer photos most welcome. I do have some via 'vale' which show the old Marley playing fields & the Greyhound Stadium, and David Kirkley and Jan send me any they have.....

So sad. Tommy Hindle, who was in the same side, and who also played for Leeds United passed away a few weeks ago too.

So sad. Tommy Hindle, who was in the same side, and who also played for Leeds United passed away a few weeks ago too. I read that notice in the Kly News Rob, with a bit of nostalgia and sadness. When I was an early teenager, we used to play football in Cross Roads park on a Sunday afternoon. Tom Hindle played for Halifax Town in those days, also lived in Cross Roads, down Bocking, and would sometimes bring his boots down and have a kick around with us. That would make our day. He was a lovely chap and a hero to us lads. Tom was 90. Cheers.
