Written by Nancy Utley on Feb. 24, 2011 Great work on the site! Insightful pictures, particularly the old and new comparisons. It's nice to see your upgrades have been done tastefully, conserving the history, architecture, and spirit of the original buildings. Here in the US, real-estate is just torn down to the ground, and totally new modern construction is built in its place. Kudos to all preservationists of Keighley. Many of your pictures bring back great memories of our time in that area in 1978. I was, and still am in awe of your history. For me, it was like stepping back in time, even though there were modern upgrades. That's as it should be. Long live Keighley! Keep up the great work. Nancy E-mail:Toneful440@aol.com

I have to agree with the above post, I no longer live in Keighley but do visit quiet often, and I always feel as though I am coming home when driving up Cavendish Street and facing the lovely Keighley Library, it brings so many memories back for when I used to practically live in the reference library, also passing the 'Monkey Railings' around the Town Hall square,as it was known to the CYC. boys and girls. Please dont let this KDH pass away.
