Here is the message: To whom it may concern, My name is Rebecca Lindley and I am a third year history student studying at the University of Chester. I am from Keighley and for my dissertation topic I am looking at health in Keighley from 1935 to 1955 and I was wondering if you would be able to assist my research in anyway. Thanking you in advance Rebecca Lindley

Is there any particular aspect of Health that you're looking into Rebecca? Assuming you're returning home for the Christmas holidays, the Local Studies Library (upstairs at Keighley Library) will be able to help you out. For more general things: Public records relating to the hospitals in Keighley can be found in a couple of locations. Use the Hospitals Record Database to find out whats available and where it is - www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/hospitalrecords/default.aspPublic Health - lots of places to look. If its an area you're covering let us know and someone should be able to point you at relevant sources / information. Have you contacted the Welcome Trust to see if they hold any research materials on this?
