Hi Everyone. The Men of Worth Project will be featured on the ITV Yorkshire Breakfast News at 8.10 am tomorrow (11th November) and the Calendar News at 6.00 pm in the evening tomorrow. Along with several members of the Great War Forum, I helped to find Samuel Lund who died as a result of the sinking of the hosptial ship HMHS Glenart Castle in February 1918. Mona Townson (Harry's Great Niece) will be laying a wreath for him on the Sutton in Craven War Memorial, which will also be filmed for Calendar News on Sunday 14th November as part of their Remembrance Day commemorations. Please take a look if you get the time as it's a great story and a great success for the project as it shows what we can do with a little help. Kind regards, Andy.

That message has just been forwarded to over 3000 History teachers (from all over the world but mainly England) with suggestions as to how they could use the story as inspiration for classroom projects in the coming year.

That's brilliant Dan, Many thanks for that. They filmed Mona Townson and her family laying a wreath at Sutton War Memorial and this will be added to the clip for tonight which I have confirmed will be on the 6.00 pm section of ITV Yorkshire's Calendar News. Unless something more newsworthy happens like the Queen abdicating, then all bets are off.
