I'm interested in reading about these areas pre 1820s. There are so many books (which is wonderful!) on the area. Can anyone recommend one or two books that would give me an idea of how my ancestors lived? I'm in Australia, so I don't have easy access to libraries where I can borrow or 'try before I buy'. Searching online I see there are a few pictorial books (I think) by Steven Wood, then there are some other books that are smaller scale and I guess more difficult to buy.
richardjudson: You have an entry for Harry Judson, (I5071) son of Fanny Binns and Greenwood Judson. I have Harry Ingham Judson in my records as died 20th March 1951. I went to visit his grave in Barnet, Herts last month. I imagine I may have it wrong somewhere(?)
